I workout in the morning too before school but a couple fruits and yougurt would barely put a dent in my appetite lol you need to eat a lot more than that to build muscle or even survive lol i hope you don’t do that often.
Will power?? Most folks are you kidding!! I was up at 0530 and at the gym by 0545. I have a banana a peach and some yogurt along with water for food for the day. Tonight it will be chicken brown rice and salad. But most folks have little will power. BBQ is great just easy on the fatty beef and trim fat from the barnyard pimp!!!
Agreed its full of chemicals that can’t do no good for you. but about it increasing your appetite, that really brings in the will power of that person in question. i know how much i need to eat and keep to that except on Sundays lol that’s bbq day :p for these weeks at least.

I am not saying to disregard all theories and hypothesis that’s how science works but staying to the matter in question diet soda doesn’t makes you fatter. it makes sense it has zero or near zero calories. i can back that claim with my own personnel experience.
Natural meat heads(or people who lift and have proper nutrition as i call them) will live longer and healthier than the average joe. I believe in science too but also believe in experience both mine and people i know. and i am telling you aspartame has zero effect on your fat gains. it might have other side effects but getting fatter is definitely not one of them.
The aspartame in your diet soda is a known carcinogen. And 90% of the meatheats I know take steroids, which make you look great in the short term, but cause heart problems later. Don’t get me wrong, they are not nearly as dangerous as the War on Drugs scum makes them out to be, and I believe they should be legal. But there are always consequences for shortcuts…always. You are also leaving out the genetic factor. Some people can drink diet soda and it doesn’t affect their waistline.
Most things begin as a Theorie?? I must admit though I drink water 90 percent of the time a little juice I make myself and diet soda every so often my blood work is great also.
we meat heads as you put it our living examples all this guy puts up are theories, i am here healthier than ever with flawless blood work to back me up. you can suck up to your Dr. Hyman all you want.
This is not true in my case and many fellow body builders. Even when i am on a deficit i have never found my diet soda consumption too be a hindrance in my fat loss. Diet soda is the only “unhealthy” thing in my diet well with the exception of my occasional cheat meals :p (they’re necessary to keep me sane)
And its just not me many fitness guru’s like luimarco also drink diet soda on a regular basis and that guy is diced to the socks he has a incredibly low bf%. i have many real life examples.
Artificial sweeteners are my enemy–Thank you Dr. Mark for spreading the word. These chemicals do in fact unbalance hormones like leptin and insulin that are involved with eating and satiety, or feeling full or satisfied and these nasty chemicals lead to messages getting sent to the brain to eat more–and to eat more of the bad stuff-i.e. refined carbohydrates!

Yes but lots of crap chemicals in Diet soda do increase your want to eat Sooooo you eat more!! And the chemicals are not good for you.

Just because someone looks great in their youth does not mean what they are putting in their bodies is not having long-term, detrimental effects.
