Hello, My left wrist was very sore and painful all last week. I couldn’t do half of these exercises. I couldn’t even lay my hand flat on the table. There is no way to complete these exercises until the pain is all the way gone. I am just sayin’…that’s me though, why torture yourself even more?
I always thought/heard that it is harmful to apply ice DAYS after injury. You can apply ice right away after injury but if pain resumes, you should use warming gels and something to heat up the muscle/joint?

Thx for your vid it really helps’ and i was wondering if you have any tips me for too my wrists hurts like everyday and im trying to strengthing it and trying to relief the pain in streches and exercise thank you
Penny! Thank you very much for uploading this video. I just started my summer job, and my wrists have been taking a beating ever since. First time doing your recommended exercises I felt a drastic difference; my joints are usually very creaky and my wrists can sound like cement mixers on bad days, but they feel great now. Will continue to do them if I feel more discomfort and add them to my regular yoga routine. Many thanks to you.
Try icing all around the wrist, hand and forearm and book an appointment to see your Doctor. (Don’t apply ice directly to the skin – make sure there’s a thin material between your skin and the ice. ) Any muscle soreness after doing weights should be gone 2 – 3 days after your workout , so this is something more by the sounds of it.
Hi penny. I hurt my wrist lifting a dumbbell, it is still hurting the same after 5 days. The pain doesnt bother me if i dont move my hand, but if i try your exercises i may shout by the pain. I still continue gym with much lighter weights but it hurts. I would be glad if you give me any hint. Thank you.
It’s hard for me to diagnose without seeing you, but I would recommend doing the exercises during your work also to give everything a little relief and a basic but neccessary compontent is making sure you have enough water in your system as this allows for for more joint fluid which minimizes joint pain.
Most people need about 3 litres a day – and even more if you smoke and are drinking coffee, tea, green tea, ice tea – anything caffinated.

Hi I’m new to this site and typing w/ my left index finger.I’m a hairdreseer and have been for 16 years.Last week I came home in dying wrist pain on my right and now it’s starting on the left.Dr put me on prednisone,just ended it today and I am still dying here.I do like yoga a lot but don’t do as much as I should.Anything else on wrist repair you could send me would be much appreciated.
